William Campbell
William Campbell, M.D. B.S. Behavioral Sciences, U.S. Air Force Academy; M.D., University of Colorado School of Medicine. Internship and Residency in Pediatrics, Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Madigan Army Medical Center (Tacoma) and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center and the University of Washington (Seattle). Since 2006, Dr. Campbell has been providing clinical services as a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician in The Children's Hospital Child Development Unit, as well as with The Children's Hospital Assessment Consultation Team (ACT Team) for Denver Options. He also serves as physician advisor for Early Intervention Colorado, and for Colorado's Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) Initiative.
Dr. Campbell served in the U.S. Air Force as a general pediatrician and later as a developmental-behavioral pediatrician. His experiences have included directing an early intervention services program at Aviano Air Base, Italy, and coordinating the developmental-behavioral pediatrics rotation for the pediatrics residency training program at Travis Air Force Base, California. From 2006-2007, he was the medical liaison for the Health Care Program for Children with Special Health Care Needs at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and he continues to be involved in Colorado's Medical Home Initiative. Dr. Campbell's interests include the early identification, diagnosis, and treatment of developmental disorders, particularly autism and related conditions.
