Rebecca Downey
Rebecca Downey, PT, DPT received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University, Denver. She became very interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics after spending a month long clinical affiliation working with pediatric Physical Therapists in Nicaragua. Rebecca's special areas of interest are supporting families and children in early intervention and the presence of motor impairments in children with autism spectrum disorders. During this fellowship Rebecca will be working in several areas including early intervention and school based services for children with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders as well as research in her areas of interest. After completing this fellowship, Rebecca hopes to continue her career in pediatric physical therapy and research.
