Lindsay Washington, M.A., received her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany in 2009. She is currently a psychology intern at JFK Partners and is in the process of obtaining her doctoral degree. Lindsay has worked with children with autism spectrum disorders for the past 5 years and has presented her research in this area at national conferences. As part of her internship at JFK, Lindsay will be conducting assessments of children who are suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder and co-facilitating groups for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. Her clinical interests focus on the early assessment and identification of children with autism, including the early markers of the disorder. Following internship, she hopes to secure a post-doctoral position and continue her work with young children with developmental disabilities.
