Facing Your Fears - Part 1: Introduction to the identification and treatment of anxiety in children and adolescents with ASD

This webinar provides an overview of the identification and treatment of anxiety in children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A brief review of Cognitive Behavior Therapy for anxiety in youth with ASD will be included as well as an overview of the Facing Your Fears program.

family members and interdisciplinary professionals with a beginning understanding of CBT and the Facing Your Fears Program

Facing Your Fears - Part 2: Adaptations of Facing Your Fears for Telehealth, Schools and other age groups

This event will take place from 10-11:15 AM Mountain Time 

Part 2 of this webinar series will provide examples of how Facing Your Fears (FYF) has been adapted for other age groups on the autism spectrum as well as for other settings and treatment modalities. Specifically, we will discuss a school-based version of FYF, considerations for conducting FYF via telehealth, and adaptations for teens with ASD and Intellectual Disabilities.


Intended Audience: Family members and interdisciplinary professionals with more advanced knowledge of FYF and/or Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with ASD and anxiety.
